Our Mission
R&R Pet Sanctuary is a 501(c)3 non-profit in-home sanctuary for elderly and special needs pets in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. The mission of the Sanctuary is to provide a loving and comfortable home environment for animals that are less-likely to be adopted due to their age or needs. At R&R, we fully understand that not everyone is able to care for these animals, whether it’s for financial, work schedule, or lifestyle reasons. We also understand that not all animals can be adopted out due to behavioral issues related to their special needs. That’s where we come in.

Our Zones
R&R Pet Sanctuary has multiple “zones” set up to fit each pet’s needs, and they’re constantly being adjusted to make sure each furry (or furless) family member is comfortable. We have a Geriatric Ward for the elderly pups who want a calm resting area, a Maternity Ward for abandoned kittens and puppies, an Isolation Ward for those recovering from surgeries or that just need to decompress, and a General Population zone for those who love everyone and everything and just want to have fun!

Our Focus
Since we are an in-home sanctuary with a focus on comfort, cleanliness, and customized care, we have limited space. Acting in the best interest of the animals residing here, we will never bring in more than can comfortably be cared for. With the exception of the Maternity Ward, we focus on permanent placement in the sanctuary and we will provide the best possible care for our residents/family members until they cross the Rainbow Bridge.
